State Run Bank in Switzerland to Launch Crypto Services
Basler Kantonalbank (BKB) is once again a Swiss state-owned commercial bank providing cryptocurrency related services.
BKB has partnered with the national banking group, Clerk Banking, to develop products that enable customers to exchange and store digital currencies. Representatives of the financial institution say that work in this direction stimulates itself in the system, the demand for crypto services.

The project is at the initial stage of development, so BKB has not yet named even an approximate launch date and does not specify which cryptocurrencies it will work with. It is also possible that the bank will offer new products through its subsidiary, which has its own banking license..
This news once again confirms that Switzerland is one of the most crypto-loyal countries. As a reminder, from June 2020, the local financial regulator began to issue permits to banks to conduct transactions with digital assets.
