Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase said it has planned a system upgrade for high-frequency trading at the end of 2018..
The company’s blog published information about plans to significantly improve the performance of the platform to attract traders and companies that use computer algorithms to perform instant transactions. After the update, processing time will be reduced to millionths of a second.
The exchange will allow the business to host servers directly in its data center for downsizing. Coinbase guarantees there will be no additional privileges for HFT.
